Virtual Tours Review

List:
White House
Lego Land Califonia
Mclaren Shop

Virtual tour give you the ability see inside or look around a specific location and maybe even give you information on what you are looking at. But there are some good and bad thing about virtual tours.

First lets start with the good. The thing about virtual tours they are mostly free you still have to pay for the internet to use them but the tours themselves are mostly free. Another good thing about this is that you can share it with others.

Now for the negatives. First of all they can be very glitchy or just slow. Secondly they are not as immersive as actually being there and you don't get the same feelings of actually being there.

So if you are too lazy to get up and go to the place your self you can just use one of these tours. I recommend the google street view of the Mclaren shop (Click on the cars to go inside them).

Sound quality: The sound quality was nice but we could do with speaking up a bit.

Camera skill: We could have done more angles on the scenes

Acting: I think we were to stuck on thinking of what we were meant to say over making it real.

Editing: I likes the flow of the fade to blacks.

Poem: Make the poem scroll slower

Quality of the life education message in your movie (the Script): Be careful at parties

Teamwork: A certain member of our group did not co-operate with us very well.

If we had more time I would have made editing a bit

Web Of Addiction Poem

Welcome to the Web

Once you are stuck its close to impossible to escape.
You keep going because you are fooled it's your fate.
You think it does you good.
But have you ever tried to look under the hood.
You think the people you love really don't care,
But all they actually do is look and stare.
You think to yourself you will be with your friend,
even though he just pretends.
So now you are starting to care.
This is the web of addiction now face your fear.

Is The Book Disappearing

I looked up on google what year will books not be in use anymore most of the results said that it will happen in 40 to 50 years.

An idea for books is we could use space glasses video below.
The company that makes these glasses says that later models are going to be alot smoother and less bulky as this is only the prototype.

Also libraries will eventually disappear as a libraries services can be used online or on apps and other devices.

also 34% of schools are already starting to use e-books for learning.

Facts on Scopolamine

There is no class for this drug in New Zealand

Scopolamine is a drug that looks like powdered sugar.

This drug is made from the powdered extract of a tree called borrachero which is very common in Columbia.

The drug is used by blowing it into a victims face or putting some in a liquid and drinking it.

When it is blown into the victims face it gives them high suggestibility which mean they will do anything you ask them to do and the victim also experiences amnesia so they won't remember any of what they did.

Here is the only known street name
DEVILS BREATH

There are no negative health affects for this drug.

Robbers can use this drug to ask people to empty their bank account or open their house.

In conclusion Scopolamine or devils breath is a drug that is highly useful for criminals and pranksters but as it has no negative side affects so it will not cause anyone harm unless what they are told to do is to hurt themselves in some way. And it also has no smell so it is not detectable by dogs.

Rotational Symmetry

Rotational symmetry is when a shape can twist and match up to itself before it restarts.

A shape has an order of rotational symmetry of 2. What does this mean?
This means the shape matches itself twice when it is rotated.

How is rotational symmetry different from line symmetry?
The difference is that line symmetry is mirrored where as rotational can match up in more than 2 places.

What do you do to check if a shape has rotational symmetry?
Pretend that you put a pin in the middle of the shape and then rotate it in your head and see if it matches up to itself.

Punctuation Fixing

"MUM where are my favourite socks," I asked yelling for help.
"And where are my Tuesday undies," asked Dad searching through his drawers, "you know I have to wear them today."
"Just wear Mondays undies no one is going to know," replied Mum "no ones going to know you say I'm going to know and to wear mondays undies pfft that would be idiotic," dad answered back with a streak in his voice.
This was only the beginning of our family disaster for the next few weeks things were starting to disappear and fast with dad losing his Tuesday undies and me losing my favourite socks. Isaac then lost his favourite bow tie while mum then lost her favorite dress. We thought we were going mental "It's not like they could just hop up and run away," said Isaac.
Mum suggested that we recap our steps, "when was the last time you had your items," she said.
We all replied before washing day was the last time we had them. "So maybe its the washing machine thats caused all this drama," Mum said with a glimpse a hope in her eyes. we checked the washing machine there was… nothing. With nothing to prove I decided to put a Go-Pro in the machine to watch it in action to see if there was something suspicious really happening inside. what I didn’t realize was that the washing machine would take my gopro too "AHHH ITS GONE" I yelled at the top of my voice.
"What are we going to do lets just give up ,"mum said to me fine if that’s the best idea I moaned. A few weeks later Isaac had dropped his toy car behind the washing machine and as we were looking for it a pair of undies popped up out of the blue just sitting there "Mum look I," said with a big grin on my face who would have guessed we both stood there smiling.

"Morning class," greeted Miss Green. It was an ordinary day and everyone was sitting at their wooden desks with pens and pencils by their side. The sweet sound of voices filling the room brought music to my ears. I decide to listen in on Brittney's conversation with Ella "OMG, last night I reached into my bag to get out my book and it wasn’t there," explained Brittney.
"No way," replied Ella, "that exact thing happened to me I was sure I put it into my bag."
This is a little strange I thought to myself why are things disappearing.

Eventually the bell went and it was time to go home. I told my mum what I had witnessed at school and she was lost for words. That night I couldn't get Brittney and Ella's conversation out of my head. I grabbed my laptop out of my bag to google this mystery, as I unzipped the case I looked down only to see that there was no laptop in my bag. This is insane I decided to look in my other pocket of my bag and to my surprise my lunch box was also missing.

The sun was shining birds singing it seemed like an ordinary day. I walked into my class that is usually full of colour but not today my class looked like a prison cell.
"What happened," I gasped.
"Don't worry kids," assured Miss Green "We have a thief in our class and I am going to get to the bottom of this one by one."
Miss Green started checking our bags everyone seemed relaxed except for James Miss Green made her way down the line and James was last to be checked
"Oh," said Miss Green looking rather lost, "What is this?" she asked James as she pulled out two books a pencil case my laptop and two class posters from James's bag.

I was utterly shocked to say the least.
"I am so sorry," cried James, "Its just that everyone has laptops or books and our class is so colourful that I wanted to take some of it home to make my house look better."
The truth is that you should be happy with what you have and not want stuff from other people.

Punctuation Correction

Link to uncorrected version

It was a monday morning I just got woken up by my Mum to get ready for school. I got out of bed and reached down for my uniform but it wasn't there, I looked under my bed under my pillows but I couldn't find my uniform anywhere.
"kaidin have you gotten in the shower yet?"
"No mum i cant find my uniform."
"Well you better find it quick or you will be going to school in your onesie."
"But mum i cant find it anywhere it’s like its just disappeared."
"Oh sure just like all your other stuff huh kaidin."
I got a note to go to school with to say that my uniform is lost and that i have to wear mufti just for today which was a pain because every teacher I walked past asked why I'm in mufti and where my uniform is, so I just showed them the note and moved on when I got home I went to go grab my iPod from where I always put it but I looked and that wasnt there either. I yelled out to my mum, "Mum have you seen my iPod," "No but do you know where did you last put it."
"Mum, if I knew where I last put it do you think I'd be asking you where it is."
"Sorry just trying to help."
I thought to myself that I'll try to find it later so I run into my room to go on my PS3 but surprise surprise it’s not there "mum oh what now kaidin i know youre up to mischief tell me where all my stuff is."
" Kaidin, do you really think I would hide your uniform away from you so you would go to school in your onesie."
"Now what’s gone missing."
"My PS3 the whole thing, the controller is here but not my HDMI cable, power cord or my Elgato."
I really couldnt be bothered looking for all my stuff because it will take me hours so I just thought of going for a bike ride I walk outside to get my bike and i couldnt believe it my bike  had no tyres by this time I've had enough I went up to my mum and said ,"mum i know you’ve put all my stuff somewhere please can I have it back."
"kaidin i have hidden your stuff away would you like to get it back."
"Yes where is it where is it where is it?"
"right here."
My mum led me to her bedroom where my stuff was all scatterd around the room. My PS3 the power cord, the HDMI and my Elgato my iPod was under her drawers and my bike tyres were under Liams bed and  my uniform was in my muns drawers Okay thanks mum for hiding my stuff thats okay ill do it again sometime hahaha yeah right.

PEEL paragraphs #2

Rimu is the best house in Tauranga Intermediate because of these reasons. First of all, we are the closest you are going to get to 21st century classes. I can prove this because we us multiple devices and techniques to learn such as laptops, cameras, google drive and lots more. Secondly, the teachers are excellent. I know this because the teachers push their students to year level way above the standard and that works. Last of all, we do lots and lots of sport. We do this so we are not sitting inside on our laptops all day here are just some of the sports we do climbing, hockey, dodge ball, ninja dodge ball, dodge ball hunger games, swiss ball soccer ultimate frisbee and many many more.
So in conclusion these points prove Rimu is the best syndicate in Tauranga Intermediate.

PEEL Paragraph

Being a mum is easy because of these reasons. First of all, once your child gets to 11 to 13 years old they become easy to control and they start to learn responsibilities I know this because I know what to do when I need to do certain tasks from learning during my life. Secondly, they don't need to teach a child to speak. I know this because kids around 1 to 3 just learn to speak by repeating what they hear and see and that imprints in their mind. Last of all, once their kids leave home they don't need to look after them anymore so they can relax until retirement. So therefore, because of these reasons being a mum is easy.

What is MMP

In the MMP system you have two votes. the first vote is for the party you prefer.

The more that people vote for a single party, the more seats that party gets in parliament.

The second vote is for who you want to represent your area e.g.(Bay of Plenty, Canterbury)
That person doesn't need to get more than half of the votes to win.

Political Partys

I think that the Civilian  Party have ridiculous policies such as

  • Remove the monarchy and become an independent banana republic
  • Ice cream.
  • Alleviate poverty amongst children by giving every poverty-stricken child a llama as a means to a basic income.
What does it take to make a political party

  1. An acceptable party name (and any abbreviation).
  2. Satisfactory evidence of at least 500 eligible members.
  3. Statutory declarations from its party secretary concerning membership, intention to contest general elections and advising of any component parties.
  4. Party membership rules showing what is required for current financial membership, and candidate selection rules which provide for the democratic involvement of members in the process.
  5. An auditor (or person who has agreed to be auditor when the party is registered).
  6. A party secretary with a postal address and contact details.
  7. Either the secretary, or a sitting MP who is a current financial member of the party, to make the application.
  8. $500 application fee.
